It is a subsidiary of Ourivesaria Che Lee Yuen, a family-owned goldsmith and jewellery business in Macau, China which was founded in 1867 during the reign of the Tongzhi Emperor in the Qing dynasty. It is one of the oldest jewellery businesses in the Greater China region with the family's history in the business spanning four generations. The brand is renowned for its fabulous design with superb craftsmanship which reflect the cultural and aesthetic value of its origin – Macau, where East meet West, with inspiration from the essence of Chinese art blending into modern fine jewellery.
A Legacy Spanning Centuries
Established in 1867 during China's Qing Dynasty, this renowned jewellery house began as a modest workshop founded by a 17-year-old silversmith apprentice Che Y.T. in Macau. What started as a small family business would grow to witness extraordinary historical transformations - from imperial China's final years to Macau's return to Chinese sovereignty in 1999.
Through four generations, the brand has maintained its founding principles while embracing innovation. Each successor preserved the original commitment to craftsmanship while adapting to new eras and tastes.
